Inter-House Swimming Meet

Splashes, smiles, and a whole lot of courage filled the air as the Inter-House Swimming Meet 2025/2026 made waves on 4th November 2025 at the All Nations International School swimming pool. Starting bright and early at 8.00 a.m., our young swimmers dove in with excitement, determination, and a few dramatic water splashes worthy of applause.

We were deeply honoured to welcome our Chief Guest, Mr. Essekkimuththu Ramesh, Head Coach of the Sri Lanka National Swimming Team at the 11th Asian Aquatic Championships 2025. His presence inspired our students to swim with confidence, discipline, and perseverance—reminding everyone that with hard work (and a bit of faith), even big dreams can start in small pools.

From the Under 07 to Under 11 categories, students competed in joyful and energetic events such as ball collecting races, kickboard races, freestyle, and backstroke. Some swam like fish, some splashed like dolphins in training, and all gave their very best—cheered on by friends, teachers, and plenty of excitement around the pool.

At the end of an action-packed morning, Aithalese House emerged as the Overall Champion, followed closely by Semnaws House, Isosukaws House, and Nasmaws House. But beyond the points and medals, the true victory was seen in the courage to try, the joy of participation, and the sportsmanship shown by every child.

As a Christian school, we rejoiced in seeing our students use their God-given strength and confidence, remembering that every stroke, splash, and smile is a gift from Him. The meet ended with happy hearts, tired arms, and thankful spirits—celebrating growth, teamwork, and the joy of giving our best for God’s glory.
