Primary Field Trip

On the 23rd of January, All Nations International School enjoyed a special day. Students from all grades stepped out of the classroom for field trips to different places. Overall, it was a day that showed our school’s focus on learning through experience, discovery, and joy.

Firstly, Grade 1 students visited Pixel Bloom. There, they took part in fun learning activities that sparked curiosity. In addition, they explored early historical ideas in an engaging way.

Next, Grade 2 students visited a place where Cargills ice cream is made. They watched the process closely. Then, they learned how everyday treats are produced. As a result, the visit brought them joy and excitement.

Meanwhile, Grades 3 and 4 explored several important places. They visited the National Museum, the National Television Network, and Independence Square. Through these visits, they learned more about Sri Lanka’s history and culture. After that, they continued their day at Viharamaha Devi Park. There, they played games, laughed, and enjoyed time together.

In addition, Grade 5 students visited the home of Martin Wickramasinghe. They learned about his contribution to the Sinhala language. Afterwards, they visited a turtle conservation site. There, they learned how to care for and protect animals and nature.

Throughout the day, students learned in many different ways. They also shared joy, friendship, and gratitude. Because of these experiences, they grew in both knowledge and character.

Finally, these moments reflected our school values. We believe in learning with purpose, caring for creation, and growing as responsible and joyful learners.

Overall, it was a day of discovery, connection, and growth.
