Once Upon A Time

Our Pre-primary children enjoyed a special “Once Upon a Time” Teachers’ Drama based on the beloved story of Little Red Riding Hood. The auditorium came alive as our teachers stepped into character. They played Mother, Grandma, the Wolf, the Woodcutter, and Little Red Riding Hood. Colourful costumes and creative props helped bring the story to life.

The children watched with excitement throughout the performance. The Wolf’s dramatic and funny expressions made them laugh. Meanwhile, the brave entrance of the Woodcutter brought cheers and joy. As a result, the children became fully engaged in the storytelling from beginning to end.

This joyful event marks the start of a meaningful initiative at our school. We are excited to introduce monthly Teachers’ Drama performances. These will give our young learners regular opportunities to enjoy stories, imagine freely, and grow through creative experiences.

Drama plays an important role in early childhood development. It builds confidence and improves communication skills. In addition, it encourages creativity and teamwork. Through such experiences, children learn to express emotions, develop empathy, and strengthen listening and language skills—all while having fun.

Overall, it was a joyful day filled with laughter, learning, and meaningful connection. It reminded us that education can be both enriching and delightfully memorable for our little ones.
