On 4th September 2025, our school auditorium turned into a buzzing hub of excitement as we celebrated the Prefects’ Investiture Ceremony for 2025/2026! It was a day full of pride, laughter, and a little bit of “wow, they’re really in charge now!” We were thrilled to have Mr. Nethan Wijesinghe, Principal of Lyceum Panadura and Consultant Principal of Logos College, as our very special Chief Guest.
The event kicked off with our Western Band playing tunes that made even the teachers tap their feet, followed by the warm garlanding of the Chief Guest. Then came worship and prayer—reminding everyone that true leadership starts with serving God and others.
Next, a “Memory Lane” video had us laughing, cheering, and maybe sniffling a little as it showed our prefects’ journey from nervous juniors to confident leaders-in-training. The most exciting part? Pinning the badges and swearing the oath, led by our new Head Prefect, Tehilah. With badges shining and hearts full of courage, our prefects officially stepped into their roles, ready to lead, serve, and maybe even survive a few tricky hallway challenges.
The Chief Guest’s talk inspired them to lead with integrity, humility, and kindness—plus, a little humor never hurts! The evening wrapped up with fun performances, heartfelt speeches, and plenty of applause, leaving everyone proud, excited, and maybe slightly envious of the prefects’ cool new badges. At All Nations, leadership isn’t just about giving orders—it’s about guiding with love, serving with joy, and shining God’s light everywhere you go. And judging by the energy in that room, these prefects are more than ready to do just that … with a smile, a prayer, and maybe a few laughs along the way!
