Prefect Camp

On August 8th, our brave prefects set off on a fun and unforgettable trip to Wet Water Resort in Gampaha. Their goal was simple: grow as leaders, work as a team, and enjoy every splash along the way.

First, teachers divided the prefects into teams and gave them creative challenges. They built simple structures, solved tasks, and learned how to work together under pressure. Some structures did not last long, which made everyone laugh even more. One moment stood out when Gihani teacher played a famous prank on Githusha by telling him to get off the bus for being late. He almost did—until the bus burst into laughter!

Next came time to relax. Prefects jumped into the pool, swam freely, and tried their best cannonballs. Laughter filled the air as everyone enjoyed the water. Afterward, a tasty lunch helped everyone regain energy for the rest of the day.

Later, worship time brought the prefects together. It reminded them that true leadership means serving others with humility and love. Even small acts, like helping a friend after a big splash, showed God’s light in action.

Then, the visiting Korean team added excitement with games and activities. Prefects learned about servant leadership through arm wrestling, push-ups, and even the Macarena. Some moves were impressive. Others were… memorable for different reasons.

By the end of the day, the prefects felt tired but happy. They left sun-kissed, smiling, and full of stories. Friendships grew stronger, lessons became clear, and one famous prank ensured Githusha will always double-check bus instructions.

Prefect Camp 2025 showed us that leaders can serve well, learn deeply, and laugh loudly—all at the same time.
