Students of All Nations International School joyfully celebrated Sri Lanka’s 78th Independence Day on 6th February 2026. The day was full of enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The children wore colourful traditional attire and carried national flags. They filled the school with joy and pride.
The celebration began with the singing of the National Anthem. Then, teachers explained the meaning of Independence Day in simple terms. This helped students understand the value of freedom.
After that, students sang patriotic songs and took part in creative craft activities. These activities made the day both fun and meaningful. Smiles and laughter filled the school, and everyone enjoyed the celebration together.
Through this event, students grew in gratitude and respect for their nation. We also thank our parents for their support.
Above all, we thank God for His blessings upon our nation. As it is written in Psalm 33:12, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”
