This year, our school hosted its most exciting and joyful competition yet—the first Crown of Glory Inter-House Championship. From fast races at the Sports Meet to confident speeches on English Day, energy filled every event. Our four houses—Αειθαλής, Νασμός, Ισόψυχος, and Σεμνός—gave their best, not only to win, but to honor God through effort, teamwork, and discipline.
Every point mattered. Students pushed themselves in quizzes, relays, poems, and performances. They spoke with confidence, ran with determination, and supported their teammates with pride. Sometimes, points were lost too—often when English slipped into Sinhala on campus! Even then, students learned valuable lessons about self-control, responsibility, and doing all things with excellence, just as Christ teaches us.
As the days passed, excitement grew. Cheers echoed. Competition stayed strong. All of it led to the final award ceremony on August 4. With great joy and loud applause, Ισόψυχος claimed the championship. Their hard work, unity, and perseverance truly paid off.
Yet the real victory went beyond trophies and points. Students encouraged one another. They celebrated each other’s success. They showed that in God’s kingdom, faithfulness, courage, and kindness matter most.
No matter the final scores, every house shone. Every challenge built character. Every effort shaped future leaders. Most importantly, every moment reflected the gifts God has placed within our students.
As we look ahead, we celebrate this year with gratitude and excitement. May we continue to compete with joy, lead with humility, and honor God in every race, word, and performance.
