If you walked into school on May 27th without a hat, you probably felt a little underdressed—because everywhere you turned, there were hats, hats, and more hats! And not just ordinary hats—oh no! These were hats with ATTITUDE… or should we say, Hattitude!
Students came strutting through the gates like runway models on a mission to prove that a hat isn’t just an accessory—it’s a lifestyle. From flower-covered crowns that looked like entire gardens on one’s head, to roaring car-themed masterpieces that could’ve passed for a toy showroom, creativity was running wild. A knight’s helmet here, a wizard’s pointy hat there—our school was suddenly transformed into a magical, medieval, floral, vehicular, comedy show of imagination.
Everywhere you looked, there was a story. Some hats said, “I’m fabulous.” Others whispered, “I built this at midnight with hot glue and prayer.” A few hats screamed, “My mom helped me and I’m proud of it!” Teachers couldn’t stop laughing, divisional heads couldn’t stop snapping photos, and students couldn’t stop showing off their “crown of glory.”
What made Hattitude Day unforgettable wasn’t just the sparkle, feathers, or cardboard taped together in questionable ways—it was the joy. The joy of being free to express, to giggle, to be silly, and to celebrate creativity as a family.
Hattitude Day wasn’t just a day about hats— it was a day about confidence, courage, and community. And trust us, no one will ever look at a hat the same way again.
